5月20日，泰国政府新冠疫情管理中心会议决议，继续延长紧急状态法施行期限2个月，本轮的施行期限至7月31日截止。这是泰国政府为防控新冠疫情自2020年3月26日起施行紧急状态法以来，第19次延长其施行期限。

On May 20, the Thai government's COVID-19 management Center decided to extend the emergency law for another two months until July 31. This is the 19th time that the Thai government has extended the period of the emergency law since it took effect on March 26, 2020 to contain the COVID-19 outbreak.

　　疫管中心表示，假如依照卫生部的方案在今年7月宣布新冠肺炎转为中央病，届时将不再施行紧急状态法。

　　当天，泰国政府还宣布放宽局部防疫管控措施，其中包括取消新冠感染高风险人士居家隔离的规则，将全国范围内疫情防控区从65府减至46府，允许疫情防备区内文娱场所恢复停业等。

　　据泰国政府发布的最新数据，该国当天新增新冠肺炎确诊病例6463例，新增死亡41例。自疫情爆发以来，泰国累计确诊病例超越440万例，累计死亡29678例。

Thailand reported 6,463 new COVID-19 cases and 41 new deaths that day, according to the latest figures released by the Thai government. Thailand has seen more than 4.4 million confirmed cases and 29,678 deaths since the outbreak began.
